UPS Shipping Guide (Ground Shipments)

An order typically takes 2-3 days to process. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number to check the status of your package.
Most orders are shipped between Monday and Wednesday. Please note that we do not ship packages over the weekend.

Most orders require the use of an insulated cooler to protect perishable items during transit. We offer a variety of box sizes to accommodate your order selection. Your order may arrive in an insulated cooler with dry ice. If so, CAUTION instructions will be included on how to handle and dispose of the dry ice appropriately and safely. Meat products will be vacuum-sealed to preserve the quality and freshness of your order. Shipping rates are based upon the weight of your order and shipping location.
We use UPS as our primary shipping carrier. UPS can ship to most physical addresses in the continental United States. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and/or international addresses, please contact us at customerservice@myschiffs.com and one of our staff members will be able to assist you further.
The confirmation email you receive will contain a tracking number that you may use to check on the status of your order. Simply go to http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html and enter your number to see where your package was last scanned and when it is scheduled for delivery. It is recommended that someone be home the day your package is delivered. UPS can release packages without a signature if no one is present to sign for the package.

During the busy holiday seasons, UPS cannot guarantee delivery of ground packages after a certain date. We will gladly ship during these times if we are confident your package will reach its destination. The closer it is to the holidays, the more we recommend using an expedited shipping speed. Feel free to contact us to learn more about suggested ship dates.
Check your addresses carefully! Schiffs reserves the right to make corrections and to limit refunds and replacements if an address error is made. Our guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. Our shipments are perishable, and we cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute the cooler. We guarantee delivery only to the provided address confirmed on the order acknowledgement.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on opened products. If you have an issue with your purchase, contact one of our meat specialists at customerservice@myschiffs.com and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Because we are an e-commerce website, we work in conjunction with third party vendors. Certain information supplied will be shared with our merchant partner, Authorize.net. Authorize.net is a secure payment processing service that is utilized to complete secure payment transactions. Our shipping carrier, UPS, will only receive the necessary information to ship your package. No information will be sold to these or any third party vendors.
Our employees are trained in confidentiality and privacy and the information you provide us will be used only to fulfill your order. At times we may use information to contact you if we foresee an issue with your order.
